Ever since her teacher wrote “great imagination!” on her second-grade paper, Carol has loved sharing her writing.

Born in Michigan and raised in the Bay Area, Carol graduated from Stanford University where she studied Human Biology. A writer, lifelong swimmer, member of Stanford’s first national collegiate Championship women’s water polo team and former health care practitioner, Carol lives near San Francisco with her husband, two sons, and their Australian Shepard.

Her debut novel, IN SUMMER I SWIM, is inspired by the friendship and community she experienced growing up on her local swim team.
